Governance
Making room for the positive to happen
“A Government founded upon justice, and recognizing the equal rights of all men; claiming no higher authority for existence, or sanction for its laws, than nature, reason, and the regularly ascertained will of the people; steadily refusing to put its sword and purse in the service of any religious creed or family” – Douglass
Governance does not mean using coercive force to make the people happy. Instead it means doing what is needed to make a successful, dynamic, and structurally sound society. There will be times when coersion becomes neccessary but we should try to minimize this.
